Liesland Movie Reviews

Susan and I manage to watch a fair amount of movies after the kids go to bed. One night after watching a really horrible movie, I thought "This movie is so bad; I should put an entry in the blog so that others are not subjected to it." Well, I decided to make an entire page out of it.

Please pardon the mess while the old posts are converted over to the new format. I promise that I am working as quickly as possible to get this done.

King of California

We liked this one. It is fairly unique. I think that this is the first movie I have watched in a long that does not revolve around romantic interests.

Ira & Abby
( )

Susan thought it was depressing; I thought it was liberating. It was definitely different. It was written by Jennifer Westfeldt, who also stars as Abby, and she did a great job. I say check it out.

She's the Man

That was pretty bad. It was kinda like Clueless meets Ladybugs meets Shakespeare.

Nothing unexpected in this one. It also happens to be Colonel Holonel's favorite movie.
