Excellent question, Simon. Our ‘livingroom’ is now in our downstairs sunroom. It consists of a couch, chair, ottoman, and 1 set of bookshelves.

That looks great! I was confused at first and thought that the side pic and front of the house pic were one picture! I thought you had built a retaining wall in the front yard and couldn’t figure out how that was working. Then I realized it was another shot of the house. Oh boy. Anyway I want to see some finished floor pictures–Dad said you were working on that last weekend.

that sounds like a typical first triathlon. People definitely commented on my bike – which is NOT a road bike – when I did my first (and only so far until next year) triathlon. It’s still fun though!

awesome to see you guys, glad to have gotten to help w a little slice of the triathlon action. an expression i use at least twice a week: once in the line of work and once as i’m doing some impossible workout: “how it feels is not necessarily how it is.” it doesn’t have to feel good to BE good, in other words; puking and having low energy feels not so good but breaking into the world of tri by overcoming / getting in the race REGARDLESS of feeling like crap is a big, fantastic, accomplishment.
who knows when we’ll see you next, but we miss you already. have tons of fun this summer!
