Mari likes to bake on Thursdays and today she made these great whoopie pies. The filling is a chocolate, cream cheese frosting.

Susan helped Mari out for a few minutes today, trying to get the second coat done so she is ready to outline when the black paint markers arrive.

Not to be outdone, I am working on a simpler mural on the rest of the basement walls.

Mari’s Mural Update

Today Mari worked on transferring her mural projection onto the wall. She freehanded most of it, but used the yardstick in the top corner where the projection came up short.

During the break we decided to paint the basement. Mari decided to take it one step further and is paint a mural on one wall. She drew up some drafts and a friend let us borrow a projector. Mari copied her ideas onto a clear sheet and she is off!
